With work and family it’s sometimes hard for me to get out and enjoy what the custom motorcycle culture is all about. Hanging out with friends, sharing stories and turning wrenches. Sure it’s still a little early for riding season but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get in the car and head up to my friends shop to check out the progress on his latest chopper make over.
Like most builders, Mykie was lucky to get a full season out of his ride before his imagination finally took over and he started tearing his shovel chop apart.
I’m not really one to write about details about whats being done to the bike because if he is anything like me, as I’m writing this he’s probably changing his mind about something.
What I will say is that everything on this build has been done by Mykie in this garage. From narrowing his fat bob tanks to welding up a one of a kind sissy bar. His style is definitely unique which shows through both his bikes and tattoo work. His hands on approach has him constantly pushing his fabrication skills to a new level.
Sweet!!
I’m looking to get a gandlebar done for my sportster nothing crazy maybe 7″ high in stainless if possible. I’d like to get an estimate for something like that.
Thanks.
Very hard to give an estimate on that description. Give us a call and we can go over more details.
